Got an email from Laura who told me to ship $$ as
they were shipping my modified gear box to me next week. So timing is
pretty good all the way around.
It turns out the Prop is approx 1/4 thicker
than my old prop - but I had a 1/4" spacer so I'll be able to use the same prop
bolts - rather than popping close to $200 for a new set.
Great to hear your prop and redrive are soon to be
together. I expect my drive will be here around about the same time
yours is, but the prop is about 2 weeks from shipping. I need to collect
some serious performance numbers now, so I'll have something to compare to,
but I haven't had the ceiling needed to do much climb or cruise speed
testing. I've also queued up so much stuff to do during the switchover,
that I need to get started before the prop arrives.
Well, got to go wipe the dust off the new prop
