Actually it glides rather well. I would recommend you take a test flight.

 I concur. 
 
The MOST IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER IN AN ENGINE FAILURE - Immediately pull the prop control full aft (highest possible pitch). 
 
Set 120 knots.  Then it glides OK. 
 
Fail to pull the prop all the way back, and you have an excellent horizontal speed brake out front.   Horizontal speed drops rapidly, and vertical speed builds equally rapidly.
