I built a shelf to mount the magtrometer about 2 ft aft of the baggage bulkhead. This puts it about one ft above where the rudder cables come out, along the sides of the aircraft. The Legacy kit comes standard with galvanized steel rudder cables. Do I need to replace these with stainless steel cables to eliminate any interference with the magtrometer? Sounds OK to me, just make = sure you get a non-magnetic Stainless Steel = alloy.
