I am not sure what you want to do, but thought I would pass along a few thoughts for your consideration.

Stein has an IVP CAD file that I helped “tune” for the Garmin G900.
In addition he has the ability to rapidly provide pdf”s ,then full size paper and/or Lexan templates cut to your spec that you can physically fit the bits to. This step turned out to be very important.

I designed my panel and considered doing all of the CAD/CAM related stuff myself since I had a local “friend of a friend” with a CAD/CAM set up. I quickly came to the conclusion that it would be a big job for many reasons and my efforts were best directed elsewhere. As the saying goes “your mileage may vary”

If you are considering a new panel, talk to Stein. I have been very pleased and very impressed with Stein from start to finish. He will take the time to walk you through the options, encourages folks to build as much of the panel as they are comfortable with, and has a great staff that quickly and accurately responds to questions. I am very happy with the panel I have and the process to get there. It has been a highlight of the program for me
