You = also need to guide the air around the bottom fins of each cylinder and = make sure you have flow at the right front cylinder and the left rear = cylinder where the oil cooler is. I was reading about a company that makes = plenum's for the TSIO550 (for the Lancair 4p). Does anybody have any = experience with this?

I could imagine if you = have a better grip on the temps that this would increase longevity and = would also allow to climb faster if needed.

(I = had a plenum on my TSIO in the Velocity and even a small leak in the = plenum was noticeable, the temps would shot up = high).
