In my opinion,it is not. I put soundproofing entirely anound the cabin area of my 320 from the firewall to the baggage bulkhead. The noise level is still incredibly loud, due to all the openings around the canopy,thru openings in the closeout ribs,etc. The process had to add at least 25 pounds and if I didn"t dave excellent ANC headsets (Lightspeed) I would be totally deaf now instead of only half deaf.I beleive that good upholstery and a lot of carpet does as good a job as possible.
