Angier asks about what sorts of things we might have on the firewall...

I bought the Airwolf remote mounted oil filter system which locates the filter
vertically on the firewall.  Seems nice so far.  The only other things I
have on
the firewall are the gascolator, heater valve, and brake hydraulic
reservoir.  I
mounted the fuel pump (high pressure) and filter on the inside of the firewall
per Lancair recommendation (less heat) and the starter contactor and voltage
regulator are also inside.  The oil cooler (9 vane stuart warner unit out
of the
aircraft spruce catalog) will go in front of the left front cylinder again per
Lancair tech rep recommendation (Their turbo 360 has it here and they report
terriric cooling).  

Some of these things arrangements are a bit unusual.  What do you guys think?
