     Doug,
     
     The IVs use an entirely different hydraulic system.  They have a
     return line to the pump that is always at low pressure.  This is where
     the filter would be used.  In the two seaters, high and low sides
     alternate as the pump reverses direction.  The filter in the catalog
     cannot be used in a high pressure line and, therefore, can't be used
     anywhere in the two place hydraulic system.
     
     All you need on the fittings is some sort of anti-seize compound.  You
     don't want to use anything that would harm the system if it got
     inside, such as tape or compounds that harden.
