Yes, it is confusing,  Without looking at the manuals, I recall the manual
stating that you use FS 0 at aft of the firewall.  I also remember somewhere
else in the manual that you use the forward side of the firewall.  Thus you
would be about 5/16 in off. so the question is agian? How far has the CG
envelope been expanded with the longer mounts and how much more foreward CG
is allowable?  Also is 5/16 inch variance on aft CG critical? The company
was experimenting with the forward CG  issue when the left main wheel
collapsed. I was there when it happened  thus we have all had to comply with
the mandatory service directive to install the phenolic wedge in the wing
spar.
