I found a XXX 95051 several years ago (Motormite 95051, Mighty Lift 95051??? -- the actual number on the unit is "RB8795051"). The length was right, and I found a piece of tubing just right to make a bushing for the upper mounting hole. Fortunately, I retracted the nose gear by hand to try it out. The barrel of the gas strut hit the head of the AN4 bolt used as the hinge pin in the GM26. Turns out the barrel of the 95051 is .87" diameter, while the original is .71" diameter. There is no way to see this conflict without retracting the nose gear. If I had not noticed the conflict, something would have bent -- probably the GM26. I considered adding washers to move the bottom connection farther out -- but not for long. Got the correct gas strut and checked the retraction for proper operation -- again. martell lindsay N360ML >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
