Taking the back edge of the spinner as the datum may not necessarily give
you the same CG measurements as another LNC2... the use of a different
engine mount, prop extension, engine configuration, etc, all will change
the location of the back of the spinner relative to the leading edge of the
wing. A more reasonable datum would be the front of the firewall bulkhead
as its location is going to be pretty much the same from aircraft to
aircraft (at least for the fast-builds, anyway). This would make it much
easier to compare CGs and would more likely insure that you're talking
apples to apples. Just a thought.
