Taking the back edge of the spinner as the datum may not necessarily give you the same CG measurements as another LNC2... the use of a different engine mount, prop extension, engine configuration, etc, all will change the location of the back of the spinner relative to the leading edge of the wing. A more reasonable datum would be the front of the firewall bulkhead as its location is going to be pretty much the same from aircraft to aircraft (at least for the fast-builds, anyway). This would make it much easier to compare CGs and would more likely insure that you're talking apples to apples. Just a thought. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
