I installed capacitance fuel probes from the outboard end of the tank. I
made a removable wing tip light installation big enough to pass the end disc
of the probe. I used soft aluminum tube bent to improve linearity. This
has the advantage that the tip end of the capacitance tube is at the inboard
end of the tank and very close to the bottom giving good readings at low
fuel levels. I reach the adjustment screws through the aileron bell crank
inspection hole in the lower skin.
