While flying towards KBHM (Birmingham, AL) from 39N (Princeton, NJ) two days ago I heard some AM or FM radio (I think) interferance in my headseats. Yesterday, I took my friend for a ride on the Lancair and we circled KBHM class C airspace. West of the airspace, again, I heard AM/FM radio signals. I turned off both radios and the radio signals were STILL being heard clearly. I also turned of the King audio panel, and radio signals were still coming in! Wierd huh? Anybody ever had this experience? My guess was that the headseats (ANR's), which were still turned on, was somehow receiving these signals. Or maybe the intercom?
