There are too many issues that can affect the safety of flight in our airplanes, and this forum should be used to bring them to light, especially when the factory choses not to talk about them. I saw this happen with an alternate air valve on my Mooney--I told the Mooney factory about a problem with the valve, and they ignored it. The result was 5 crashes within two years, resulting in 2 deaths. And the widow sued the hell out of the Mooney factory. I wake up in the middle of the night sometimes thinking about those two guys. Well, Bob, as you seem to have missed the gist of the heat valve thread, I would suggest you go into the files and read up on the subject instead of attacking me personally.
