If this were a 320/360, I would think about solving the problem by relocating the flap motor to the other side of the fuselage. Behind the passenger instead of behind the pilot. At worst, you would have the flap jackscrew at the other position (extended when flaps are retracted) so some opposite wiring would be needed. You would also have to put the shorter flap pushrod on the other side of the fuselage. My vague recollection is that the Legacy already had a flap motor enclosure box built into the kit. If so, you would have to build another one (like we 235/320/360 builders did) and either use the built-in one as a tool storage box or just cut it out. I'm not sure about these details in the Legacy, but if this technique works you can use the hole you already cut and not make another hole. - Rob Wolf >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
