Have you tried having someone hold the rudder pedals firmly in place and
then try and move the rudder by hand?
Don't know how Es hinges are mounted but in a 360 they are pushed into hard
foam blocks from memory. It would be possible for the foam to compress a
little allowing some movement but not actually pull through the spar. Would
take only a small movement to generate your problem at high speed.
