Back in the game, means I not selling the plane
after all. I've found dealing with potential buyers
to be very frustrating. Building a plane is
much easier.
I have completely changed my philosophy on how I'm
going to build the plane. I'm going to build it as
light as possible and add as many go slow goodies as
I can get my hands on, like vortex generators and
leading edge cuffs and wing root stakes, if lancair
ever makes them available. I was told at Oshkosh 99
that they were working on them, but have heard nothing
since then. I only plan to land at my private strip
with just me on board and a light fuel load to keep
the landing speed as low as possible.
I have already installed a AOA indicator, but would
appreciate any advice from you builders out there
on how to better achieve my landing slow goal.
