I extended my tanks to 100gal also. I used 1/4" 2pps for the web.  Seems OK
to me. Of a bigger concern is the placement of the web, if I were you I
would tilt the outboard edge aft about 1/2" or more, to avoid an
interference problem with the ailerons control rods. Don't ask me how I
know this. You will only lose about a quart or two fuel capacity, but
potentially save yourself a big headache.

Also I would suggest that when you mill out the coreless area for the bell
crank mounting pad, that you extend the coreless area aft an additional
inch, to avoid your nut plates from ending up on a radius.

You may also want to call the factory concerning enlarging the inboard
pushrod holes,similar to what you have to do to the outboard holes past the
idler arm. I've been told this is going to be a big headache for me since
my wings are already closed and there's no mention of this in the manual.
