Two of us in the local EAA chapter have had failures of this hose in the fuel system after about 5 years exposure to fuel. They tout it for fuel systems but both 100LL and autogas destroy the hose with prolonged exposure. The hose fails by havng the inner liner turn to mush and fail under the outer shell of the Aeroquip 491 fittings. The hose weeps and then loses the structuiral integrety of the end connection. Both of us found the problem at annual condition inspection but we were both close to an in-flight major problem. I strongly advise anyone with these hoses to replace them immediately and check the fuel system down stream of the hoses for trash and goo. Ross W.
