Point well spoken.......hackles retracted. ;-)

As a follow-on... I have discovered that the blind rivets on push rods
are not appropriate, so therefore, I will be rebuilding the push rods
all over again.  I am going to take my tech counselor up on his offer
and take some equipment over to his shop and learn how to hand peen
rivets from him.  Then I'll rebuild the push rods afterwards.

I would also like to add that I am not opposed to anyone pointing out
safety issues...so please don't let my lack of social skills deter you.
