The aluminum line on the Liv that had the engine fire, was between the
scavenge pump and a tee that serviced both turbo return lines.  The consensus
was that the flare pulled out of the fitting due to vibration and the
suspended weight of the two lines and fittings.  IMHO Keep aluminum lines and
fittings out of the firewall compartment on anything critical.

In-line fuel filters in the cabin are not desireable.  The tanks must be
drained to change or clean them and when the filter is pulled out it deposits
fuel inside the cabin.  BAD THING...
