Please note that with correct wiring of the flap motor, there should be ZERO coast.
If you have any other result when current is removed from the circuit, you have a
problem. There was some discussion here on this subject a year or so ago and if I
recall correctly, a short designed into the circuit will cause the motor to stop
abruptly.
