Do them on a good day with an aft CG. My 235 does them OK but it much better to have done some practice ones without other complications like strong crosswinds or low ceiling. Even with a second means for putting power to the flap motor there are other single failures which can stick the flaps. (like other electrical failures, overtravelled actuator or other linkage failures where you do not want to mess with the flaps in flight) Ross W.Colebrook N7828 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
