After speaking to several other ES flyers out there with the IO550
installed, it looks like the flaps getting stuck down is not too much of a
factor after all.  The airplane will perform ok even on a go around with
full flaps.  I don't know about the smaller engined 235's etc, but I've
decided after all to not put the emergency switch in, at least not yet, and
just spend a little more time getting the switches right at the motor.
Keeping it simple is sure difficult sometimes :-)
