I am making my elevator compensator mount brackets per print FM-419-1. It seems the elevator A.P. servo mount hole shown may be for one type only, true? Also, is it necessary to do the core removal in the servo mount area? Why not add bid to the prepreg and skip the core removal? What is the reasoning behind the single thickness of many bid rather than using beefed up prepreg? How does the angle of the compensator affect rigging and is the slot in tab EL 056-02-02 effective in making adjustments? The AN3-10 bolt head seems too close to the idler support structure when installed as shown. Any reason the attachment to the tab cannot be done in reverse, on the centerline of the idler? Does the A.P. pitch servo used with the Sierra Flight Systems mount there? Differences? Thank you for your help, Walter Dodson coy0te@earthlink.net >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
