Jan is ex-Navy and did a stint at Pax River in the Navy flight test program, and so entered the program as an experienced pilot with technical training. He currently flies an SX-300. He said he was highly impressed by the quality and depth of the course offering. Moreover a lot of the highly technical stuff associated with test flying has been simplified to be practical and useful for the general aviation pilot. The class is apparently offered in 2 day and 3 day versions. Jan attended the weekend version which gives the student a 300 page book to learn from and take home. I believe he said the class cost is $300. The source is: Ed Kolano P.O.
