But, 50% might be for someone who is liquidating an asset they themselves don't particularly have an interest in. It really depends on the market. I'd spend a few hundred bucks advertising in aviation journals or online and see what offers it flushes out. I'd probably mention the 23k from factory price and then state the price is negotiable from there. The problem you are going to have is shipping the darn thing. There is so much to be said for Lancair's shipping design.....in a word it's excellent. You will need to be very careful how you ship, because damage could be very easily done during shipping if you don't package it correctly. Good luck. I think selling an uncrated and slightly worked on kit would be one of the hardest things to sell. You may even think about some ridiculously low price and leave the shipping up to the buyer unless you need to get a certain amount of money out of it.
