Ed, I'm about 1 yr away from completion (I hope). All the flying surfaces and control surfaces are done. Wing mating is done. Horiz. & vert. stabs are installed. I'm now starting work on the landing gear. The reason for the low kit number (004) is that I purchased the kit from a builder in Florida who had started the project back in 1996/7 and realized he didn't have the finances to complete it. I'm about 90% set on panel content and layout. Engine will be the standard IO-550 N with 3 blade prop. Haven't decided on Hartzel or MT. I think I remember someone saying you could purchase the MT directly from the dealer in Florida and save $$. I'll have to look into that. Sounds like yours will be a "Super" Super ES. Can't wait to start flying it so I can retire the old Skylane.
