Prior to the changes every post which was addressed to the LML's email address was held for approval, regardless of whether the sender was a subscriber or not. The change which I instituted was to automatically reject any posts from non-subscribers, thus lightening my workload (supposedly) and keeping the spam out without any intervention on my part. I thought this was going to work until I started receiving notices of automatic rejections of various subscribers' posts that were arriving from their alternate email addresses. I tried solving that problem by granting certain of these multi-addressed subscribers Open Posting status from these alternate addresses, only to discover that that wasn't going to work either for various reasons. In a nutshell, I have abandoned the idea of allowing the listserver to do the blocking of unwanted posts and have gone back to moderating everything in an effort to return things to normal. If you sent a post to the LML and received a notification that you weren't authorized to post to it, please resend it... it will now go into the queue and will be approved shortly. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. It was a good idea but doomed to failure from the start. I'll be smarter next time. Additionally I've been having problems with my personal email address, someone sent me some graphics files that have managed to clog up my email box and as a result I won't be able to access it until tomorrow morning. If you sent anything to me that required a response I promise that I'll get to all of that stuff tomorrow in the AM. Thanks for your time. PS... please do not send replies to this post to the lancair.list@olsusa.com address. Thank you. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
