As an FYI, here in California the EPA was very busy early on pushing to
get MTBE added to automotive fuel.&nbsp; This of course increased the per
gallon cost, as the refineries (of course) claimed that it cost more.&nbsp;
Well a few years down the road and guess what?&nbsp; They are finding MTBE
in many drinking water sources above and underground.&nbsp; Now the EPA
says the refineries MUST remove MTBE.&nbsp; And the refineries are now
saying... yup, it'll cost more to take it out.&nbsp; Thank God there are
so many government agencies taking care of us ignorant folks!!!!
