Since Lycoming admits the engine has an intake system which promotes the
formation of lead deposits as certified, why don't you improve on their
system?  Certification doesn't mean that much to the experimental builder.
I wouldn't know where to start but you might check all the usual suspects
for a start.  Is the primer system leaking?  Is the throttle shaft tight in
its bore?  Idle mixture set ok?  Do you shut down according to the ' idle at
1200 rpm then ICO' rule?  Are the plugs new?  Any leaks in the manifold?
You really should get 50 hrs between fouling klinkers, at a minimum.
