Why would you want to put a turbine on an ES when it has a Vne of 220
kts? Most of the turbines out there, unless hugely derated, produce way too
much power for that plane IMHO. If you want to really max out the
performance of an ES, a TSIO-550 at 350 hp is more than enough power .
Unless someone comes up with an economical low power turboprop, it makes no
sense unless you have a potfull of money to throw away. If you want the
kind of performance a turbine engine would afford, you need to put it into a
IV/IV-P. That's my .02
