They ain't cheap. I believe I was told that a four cylinder engine would cost about $11K and a six around $16K. They haven't converted any six cylinder engines as of yet. While there is a weight penalty, they claim some of that is recovered in lower drag, but that would require a redesigned cowling, which you'd have to make yourself. Of particular concern to me was that their water jackets do NOT just fit over your cylinders; you have to buy new cylinders from them, of which I know nothing about. The whole thing sounded pretty sketchy, although the hardware installed in their Cherokee 140 demonstrator looked very good and of high quality components. By the way, the radiator was forward of the firewall, not under the belly as one might expect. Not sure if they can do that with a six or not with the tighter quarters under the cowling. The cowling was off the demonstrator plane, so I didn't see how the radiator was fed its air.
