I have been flying a Piper Tri Pacer, Lycomming 150hp for quite a while burning
Regular car pump gasoiline (STC"d for car gas). Befor that I burned a lot of car
gas in an old straight tail 172.  I alway use carb heat when I am on approach as
per the manual even on warm days. I have noticed no problems at all using the
car gas.
