Well, two can play at that game. Okay, buddy, I have a Ph.D. from MIT in aerospace engineering, did my doctoral research on heat transfer in internal combustion engines under John Heywood (heard of him? If not, maybe YOU'RE not qualified). I am also the VP/Engineering at my company, and I've designed rocket engines for the better part of a decade (the whole things, not just the nozzles). Good enough for you yet? Okay, now that I've settled down a little and responded to your unwarranted churlishness with some of my own, maybe we can put our injured prides aside and get to the issues. You've presented a plausible explanation for a small improvement in engine efficiency being magnified by other factors to yield an overall system improvement that is truly remarkable. That was a good piece of detective work for which you are to be commended. However, you have before you an opportunity to obtain free test data from a qualified independent observer for only the cost of the coated engine parts. This data, and only this data, will silence the skeptics from which you have heard plenty. (And myself, I might add.) I can see several reasons why you might resist: 1) You're afraid that they will be unable duplicate you results. 2) You're afraid that they will duplicate your results, but say they can't, in order to quash the market for your products. 3) You're afraid that they will steal your technology and take your market from you. 4) You can't afford to send them the parts. Your reluctance to SHOW US YOR DATA rather than mere assurances of its existence tends to make us believe it may not actually exist. I mean, is that so hard to understand? I'd much sooner listen to a discussion of the four points above than a diatribe about how "dynos are nice but pilots are better" and listen to you call for an end to "unprofessional and impolite ranting" at the conclusion of your own. And now that I've ended my own unprofessional and impolite ranting, it's time to move on.... - Rob Wolf >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
