I also followed the plans, installing two PVC tubes on the pilot side ot the nose gear tunnel and one on the co-pilot (passenger ?) side, all under the subfloors. I passed both battery cables on the pilot side, one through each tube and was happy that appeared to be optimal. Electrically and otherwise, that's the way to go.
