Well, I followed the plans carefully and placed pvc conduits on either side of
the nose gear tunnel for the battery cables. Now I think this was probably a
dumb idea, electromagnetically speaking. These cables start at the battery
behind the copilot seat and run forward down the centerline.They are parallel
with eachother as well as twisted until they split at the nosegear tunnel and
go their separate ways under the subfloor and through the firewall. Would it
not have been smarter to run them parallel and twisted up to and through the
firewall??? The compass as well as other odds and ends might be happier for
this....then again, maybe I'm just picking nits tonight. Any thoughts on this
subject would be appreciated.
