This first pic is the original exhaust from Lancair as manufactured by Snowline.
It’s amazing just how much crud from this exhaust manages to attach to the belly of my plane….all the way back to the rudder no less!
Every 3 to 4hrs required a major cleaning effort.

This pic of the replacement exhaust shows the 45º bends welded to the tailpipes.
After 4hrs of flight, the belly is totally, completely, absolutely and positively free of any exhaust crud.
I highly recommend this change.
