Are you talking about damage to the pipes or to the composite work?
Do you have the Mae West lower cowl PLUS the exhaust tunnel extenders?   =
I do and measured temps from the firewall to the end of the extenders.  =
I didn't find anything over 150 dF.   I do think the extenders create =
more (too much?) flow, however.
