At last we can have 50# batteries (x2 for safety),  dual buses, voltage
dividers, the 21 volt bus for all the stuff that runs at that level, the 10.5
volt bus for long life 14.5 volt bulbs (or are we to use fiber optics with
purple neon in the wheel wells?) and finally, the last division of 8x2 buses
at 5.25 volts so that we can use all that neat CMOS circuitry to control a
fingerprint entry device, the colored moving map of the Chicago subway
system, Aid-to-Dependent-Airplanes Annunciator and a holographic
touchy-feely-smelly in-flight whole-body experience.  Oops, I forgot that the
new CPU's run at only 3 volts.  Right now, I'm using "potato power" (Idaho's)
which doubles as a survival food source in case of total mashed potato
failure.

42 volts indeed!  Just when my Firestone's were getting broken in.   Why not
120 VAC?  Then I could use home appliances in my car and plane except when I
fly to the Seychelles.

(My medication is being increased and they will let me out of the institution
soon.)

Note: Cessna used 120 VAC to power the switch panel backlight on 1973
Skymasters.
