I recently installed new lights on my 360. I had a pair of the old ONG lights on my outboard gear doors, now sold by Reese racing. One blew off in flight after 700hrs so I took the opportunity to upgrade. I looked at aero LEDs but unless you must have a light in those physical dimensions the price is absurd. I ordered a pair of KC lamps but the 2x2 arrangement would not fit on the new three piece doors. I found a pair or SR-Q lamps from Rigid Industries that fit neatly on the ONG debongers inboard of the gear. $227 for the pair, they come in 60*, 20*, or 10* lenses, and meet nearly the same environmental specs as the aeroleds. I ordered the 10* lenses. They light up the numbers from 500' AGL on approach but don't cover as much of my FOV as I'd like when taxiing. 20* may have been a better choice. I'm considering a smaller version with 60* lenses as taxi lights. Probably overkill.
