Each mag "off" produced a fair amount of = roughness. Short version: changed out all 12 high-ohm champions for = incredibly cheap and efficient BG341 plugs. When performing the test = the second time, I could not feel the mag being shut down--night and day = difference. EGTS all rose nicely and the cabin was smooth. Running LOP = now I can easily lean out until power just drops off without the prior = roughness. The big pull is a non-event except for FF and temps.
