As I recall, the first step in the VM 1000 troubleshooting guide is to check the security of the leads on the terminal block on the front of the DPU.

The second step is to check the continuity of the leads.

I assume that you have already done this.   Right???

Good Luck,

Hello there,

I am looking for some advice.  I had the plane (TSIO 550) out of annual about 15 minutes into the air and the TIT 1, TIT 2 and P temps on the VM1000 all read 0000.  The EGTs and the CHTs on all cylinders work fine as do the engine instruments.  I don’t think this sounds like a single probe failure, but why that pattern?  Any ideas would be appreciated.  The local avionics shop isn’t up to speed and before I get it torn apart, if someone had this experience, I’d appreciate hearing about what you did.

The unit is 12 years old and has 1200TT.
