Several months ago I joined the Lancair Owners and Builders Organization [LOBO] and attended their fly-in "Landing" in Greenville, SC a few days ago.  Having been a builder for over 20 years, I  admit that I was skeptical going in that I would learn anything I didn't already know, but boy was I wrong. I met a bunch of great people, saw ~40 beautiful Lancairs, learned about the amazing new avionics and other products that were un-dreamed-of when I started my project, and attended many expert forums on topics that might save my life now that my L-235 is almost ready to fly.
