Eric,

Lancair thought a AOA system was important enough to build in sensor ports with connections and a drain on the top and bottom of your left wing.  I think it is one of the most important safety of flight items on your aircraft.  Contact http://www.advanced-flight-systems.com/Products/AOA/aoa.html   They offer several models and have pre-programmed software for the Legacy.  It only has to save your life once to be worth the money.

Note, the approximately ˝” ID fiberglass tubes glassed inside your wing at the factory have a high likelihood of leaking air.  I had to paint mine with epoxy inside and out to stop pinhole leaks.  Do a low pressure leak down test to verify they don’t leak.
