I'm glad Walter fixed this thread cause I was ready stop going LOP on the io550 legacy at full power.  I know where that flow is so I just pull it back quickly and it goes from 26 to 13gph.   Sure kills high CHTs in a heartbeat and saves fuel on long cross country trips.  If the plugs and mags are good there isn't a shake or misfire...the old champions acted far differently, you definitely knew when LOP was in play.
