I completed the annual condition inspection and ran up the Legacy after posting the fix on the leaking Andair gascolator.  Nothing else was done to the induction or fuel system.   After start, the idle was much smooth and richer, I had to back off mixture 2 inches to keep things lean.  My assumption is the andair device was either leaking small amounts of fuel affecting idle or sucking air.   With boost pump off, it would likely be sucking air.  Bosst Pump ON was probably pumping fuel overboard.  I normally run with boost off except for start or hot start.

I also partially removed the right wing to replace a fuel probe with the help of locals and Kyrilian Dyer who came up from Stuart.   The original VMS probe had loose wiring in the head and the center probe spacers had dropped into the tube causing loss of signal when the probe was bounced around.  This problem was from the original build but not fixed until now, 700 hours later.  The process was actually quite simple but we had 3 people helping so it was re-assembled the same day.

Lastly, we increased the gap on the wing bottom between stub and outer wing.  Miy gap was too small and a hard landing caused a crack in the bottom skin when the two skins got squeezed.  Mind the gap, tape the crack.
