Thanks for the info on the spinner fillets.
I don't know if the builder fabricated the fillets but when I took them off the other day they seemed a bit on the "light" side.
With my minuscule mental gymnastics I had wondered about your suggestion Gr(a)yhawk, of reinforcing the current fillets with AL-U-MIN-I-UM backing as well.
I'll run with both your suggestions to the bloke I'll get to fix it.
