Probably will have more to say later aft= er I get my head out of ------ pressurization, avionics and other issues. Major problem and why the engine was making aluminum is that the cam shaft a= pparently should not have been used. It had been repaired with chrome on the= journals and besides being badly pitted some of the chrome must have been p= eeling off and gouging the aluminum in the case where the camshaft rides. T= his item was sent out to a repair shop and was red tagged as not restorable= due to the chrome treatment and both key ways being too beat up. =20 I am told that chrome treatment of these camshafts is not acceptable. =20 None of this information comes from my experience or knowledge base all has b= een passed on to me.
